As we slide into December things in the office start to slow down. Have had a few changes around here in the past few weeks and we’re looking forward to going full force next year.
We’re still in the process of renovating what used to be our gym into an office space for a company of 16. Will definitely say I wish my late business partner was still here to help organise the process as he had a knack for that sort of thing. Thinking of you Paul. Walls went up in the space this week, which is definitely a step in the right direction. Will be a relief when it’s all finished and they’re able to move in early next year.
We’re still waiting for the summer heat to arrive here in Auckland. The weather is starting to look up, yesterday was a beautiful day, however there’s still that chill hanging around. Looking forward to the summer days so I can get out on my bike and take some photos. There’s a couple of exhibitions on at the moment that I wouldn’t mind seeing, a photography one in Silo Park, and a light show at the Auckland Art Gallery. My daughter enjoys that sort of thing too, so once she’s more mobile we’ll be going for a walk one afternoon (she’s still recovering from knee surgery).
Our planning for 2015 is already well underway and we’ve ordered new polo shirts to start the year off fresh. Still waiting for my wife to finish designing our new business cards so we can get those ready to go too. We’re looking to try something a little different so I’ll be excited for when they are done.
